It's Influence on Society and How We Communicate

Culture directly influences the way we communicate with each other. Communication is shaped by spoken language, body language and cultural filters. Language is defined as: "A body of words and the systems for their use common to the people who are of the same community or nation, the same geographical area or the same cultural tradition". So in a world that has become united under Facebook, have we in fact defined a new language and created a new culture? What will the world cultures look like in five, ten or twenty years of utilizing FaceBook to communicate to one another? Will the traditional generations recognize the new emerging generations or even be able to communicate with them?

So, what's so important about Facebook?
